this post relates to my ugh post from earlier this week. i finally managed to write up my resume in a certain desired style, cranked out a cover letter and filled in a questionnaire AND submitted it all a few hours before the deadline. yay to me. i tried to come up with smart words and described my paper-pushing-every-day-work in glorious not-so-everyday-sounding terms. i guess that’s why it took me a while to finish my documents.

now, don’t be confused. i do like my current job and i want to stay there. but this was a once a year opportunity so i had to give it a try. if it doesn’t work out there’s always next year.  so now all i can do is wait.

i’m also waiting for spring. my balcony was covered with snow this morning so god knows how long i will be stuck in the cold. give me some sunshine at least, dear weather gods, ok? thanks.

oh, and i made a great bargain yesterday. a friend dragged me in a shoe store and because that store was closing there were huge savings to have. if you were lucky enough to find a pair in your size. me and my tiny feet were really lucky! my tactic included piling up all pairs i liked and then trying them on. so i had a bunch of shoes, most i did not like after all but in the end i did get three pairs. altogether, they would have cost 170 euro. i paid 55. come on, say it with me… BARGAIN!!!! and because it’s still so cold i can wear one pair i got already, fall/winter boots! yay.
