there’s no way to deny my gene pool. my mom told me that my sister got a new hair cut and glasses and looks like me now. well, well…i thought that is highly impossible. we never looked much alike and what should a hair cut and glasses do about this? oh i was wrong…so wrong…i met my sister in town today and when i saw her from afar i was shocked. she looks like me! she really does! she went from wearing frameless glasses to ones with a thin dark frame. and her hair is cut in a nice bob cut. that pretty much sums up my look. it was not planned on her part at all and i don’t think she realized it until other people (including our mom) told her she looked like me. and then photos were compared.

and the cutest thing ever? today she put on my pearl necklace and my niece (5 years old, bless her heart) said “now you really look like aunt franzi”. how cute is that????

that’s my gene pool. not much variation. throw in a new hair-do and glasses and you have two girls who look like twins.

my next appointment with my hairdresser of choice is on saturday. how i wish i had met her with my hair as short as hers, it would have made for some very very fun pictures!
