really people, do i need to say more? i wanted to refrain from posts about the weather but it is so cold out, it’s almost unbelievable. yet, i lived through one michigan winter so i know temperatures like these are possible.
as you can see at 9:30 this morning it was -21 degrees celsius. that is -5.8 fahrenheit for you people on the other side of the ocean. whatever scale you use IT IS COLD!!! in case you wonder how cold it is, imagine going outside and breathing in through your nose. if you feel your nose hair freeze instantly — THAT’S HOW COLD IT IS!!!
last night was the coldest night in germany in 27 years (overall). yeah, i kind of had a feeling i didn’t feel this cold before
i am running out of options of what to wear to work since i walk part of the way. there is a limit to how many tights one can wear, let me tell you!
i like winter but these temperatures make me reconsider. it’s impossible to do anything outside without gloves. forget texting or making smart phone phone calls. (on a side note, i am aware that there are special smart phone gloves and that you can also operate your smart phone with a sausage but i like my gloves and i don’t want to walk around with sausages in my pockets.)
i am ready for spring to start. without rain or water leaks or anything please.

/ February 6, 2012War heute morgen in Berlin und dachte ich komme ohne meine Extremitäten und mein Gesicht nach Hause. Holy shit. Da is in HH ja noch warm gegen. No fun.
