did heathrow airport really not learn from 2010?

there’s snow in london, snow at heathrow. and again it seems like chaos is ruling.

sounds like the airport officials did not learn their lesson from december 2010…

i feel for anyone being stuck at heathrow right now. i hope it doesn’t get worse and i hope you all will make it SOON to your travel destination.

ps: there were times where i thought i would end up on that cemetery. real through the posts of stranded at heathrow to find out why.

stranded at heathrow vol.12 – i made it

i have arrived! after a long flight on thursday and another flight cancellation form nyc to washington – including a major meltdown that sent terminal 3 at jfk into collective head turning – i arrived in washington. a week after i planned to arrive and in certainly one of the worst mental states of mind i ever had. but i arrived.

i will try to give you a recap of the events. i did need the last days to recover and get back on track. plus it was christmas so i was busy as well. thankfully, i didn’t have to spend it all by myself or on a freaking island. ;-)

thank you for all you thoughts and well-wishes. this was (hopefully) a once-in-a-lifetime experience that i do not wish unto anyone else ever to experience.

british airways and heathrow authorities? you will hear from me!

stranded at heathrow vol.10

hey ya’ll,

in case you are wondering when you should arrive at heathrow for your flight, do not arrive earlier than 3 hours for international flights and 2 hours for european flights. it will be no use to arrive earlier and the chances are high you will not be allowed into the terminal!

i have great news. my flight tomorrow is listed as operating so i hope i can finally leave this place – 7 days after i arrived!

please have all your fingers crossed, pray for me, do whatever, I WANT TO LEAVE!
