please don’t let me smell bad

i’m on a business trip tomorrow and the current super cold temperatures aren’t making it easy to pack. i need winter boots to make it to the airport and to the venue and safely back home. but i also need nice heels to look halfway presentable. i’ll skip my usual pantyhose because it’s just way too cold and i need something substantial to keep my feet and myself warm.

since one of the people from management (the one with the power to fire me) will be there also i want to leave the best impression (aka non-sweaty and smelling nicely despite hauling exhibition equipment around) so i need to bring a change of clothes also.

keep in mind that i have to lug the exhibition equipment AND my personal belongings which all needs to fit within the weight restrictions of the low cost carrier we are traveling with…oh dear. i am facing a challenge here, folks!

oh, and of course as if weight restrictions, temperatures, and low cost carriers aren’t enough fun already i will have to travel back home by train which will take…around 5 hours and that is if all trains are on time and i make all connections. if there’s a glitch in the system i’m looking at at least 6.5 hours on the train.

sweet. at least at that point in time it won’t matter anymore if i’m sweaty or not, lol.

oh well, wish me luck that it all will work fine and that my boss won’t see any wrinkles in my outfit nor smell me in a way i don’t want to smell. ;-)

i smell people

i know i’m weird. there’s no way to deny it. and i’m big on smells. i react strongly to any type of odors. sometimes i feel like that guy in the book the perfume, in a non-violent way of course.

my favorite smells of today?

fresh strawberries – yum yum! to me it’s like i can actually smell the vitamins.

the smell of rain – this is to me one of the all-time favorites. the moments before a downpour are so calm…nature is great!

my shampoo – i actually use three different shampoos (really, is this the plural of shampoo?), all from the same brand. and one has a moonflower smell that is so captivating…i could wash my hair for hours. strange thing is though, i usually don’t like the moonflower smell. told you i’m weird.

i also like to smell people but this is really a strange habit and only those closer to me are lucky enough to be smelled and told they smell nice. ;-)

tell me, what’s your favorite smell?
