seriously. the service people who came by to exchange the water counter drive me nuts. i thought they are exchanging both counters (cold water and warm water) for those wireless things so that no one has to come into the apartment to get the stats. oh i was wrong, silly female me. they came to exchange the warm water counter only. the one that was exchanged just last spring. exactly the one that just 2 weeks ago provoked the remark “oh, that’s a brand new one” by one of the service folks.
so the two guys arrive, look at the water counter and i was already suspicious that they only had one box with them. that’s when they told me they are only exchanging the warm water counter. i asked why, they said they only had the order for that counter, and not the cold water one. a moment after that the one guy remarked that “this counter does not need to be changed”. the other dude said “we have the order, we exchange”.
ok, i get that. they are hired to do something so they have to do this. but each time they show up to do ONE thing, i pay part of it in my utilities bill. and i am getting fed up with this. why can’t the orders be placed in a way that everything is being completed in one attempt? or at least both water counters at the same time and the heating separately. i don’t get it. really, i don’t. can’t anyone make this stop or show them some good old german organization???
reason i’m too busy to be mad is that i am going on vacation. in exactly an hour my train to berlin leaves to take me to the airport.
yay to vacation. i’ll be back next week
