procrastination never was so inspiring!

oh people, why does google do this to me? i am looking for just a slight suggestions on how to proceed on a current quilt project and what happens? i find blogs like elizabeth hartman’s http://www.ohfransson.com/oh_fransson/

did i stop in my tracks to browse around her site, looking at all the wonderful patterns she posted? you bet i did. it’s so inspiring to see her work – i wish i was even a tenth as creative as her.

so please excuse me while i procrastinate. this blog is too precious to ignore. who can think about selling furniture and all other stuff i have when i have quilts to look at?!?!

oh, and some real news: welcome to this world little julius. my dear friend gave birth to a healthy baby boy yesterday. we had planned on meeting up for dinner today but that meeting was cancelled ;-) now the next time we will see each other it will be with little julius cooing along. i can’t wait to see him!

procrastination is my friend

here’s what i should be doing: clearing out my all-purpose-room and the hallway putting everything that is in there into the remaining rooms. why you may wonder? the two or three drying machines that are going to be installed next week to clean up the mess created by the water leaks from the apartment above will create a lot of dust. in fact, so many people have warned me of the dust that will creep EVERYWHERE that i am trying to take as much precaution as i can (and hence reduce the clean-up).

obviously there are items that i can’t take out. these, i will try to cover up as best as i can. so far i actually do not have a confirmation that the dryers will actually be installed at all next week. i’m just hoping the building management will get something right for once.

now, as time is tight i should be hustling to move all the stuff…right…i did move some things but eventually got distracted procrastinating. my sewing machine is so much more interesting than that!

i actually got some ideas for new projects when i googles some random things and i am super curious to see what the final result will look like. of course i’ll share pictures with you! in the process i found a whole online scene of quilting/patchwork bloggers.  maybe that’s an idea for another blog…i’ll keep you posted!
