since thursday i really feel like i need to plug into some outlet and recharge my batteries. after all the traveling and many many hours on the road, i’m just tired and really need the weekend to unwind. 

the application deadline is drawing closer and that’s basically the first numbers that i will be measured by. if the applications increase then that’s (partially)  because of me. if they don’t increase, well, then there’s two options. either i suck at what i do or it’s the school. or the program. pick one. just not the first one. 

tomorrw i’ll meet the first of my three online guys. he’s the clingy one. that will be a very interesting date. over in an hour or so. i mean, he’s a nice guy, smart, volunteers, but he’s my age (so i consider him young, and you can tell he’s young) and he might be too similar to me to get the sparks flying. 

then on monday i’ll meet the other guy. he’s the hard-to-judge-one. if you want to know how things are going, give me a call around 6. either it will give me a chance to leave the place (what happened? oh my god! i’ll come to get you right away!) or i’ll tell you that there’s no need to worry. 

the miles-away-guy is sick and like a real man, suffers A LOT. but he admits it. and not only is he getting his doctorate, his (older) brother already has one. smart family. who doesn’t think that is attractive?! 

next week, we have a big soccer tournament at school. i have to work, surprise, but a friend is coming over to party along. free drinks for all. a colleague is also spending the night because she’d have quite a way to drive home. sounds like slumber party do grown ups have slumber parties? mh…

oh, and i hate my bank. i transfered some money but it doesn’t show up on the account. so i don’t get any money at the atm. grrrrr…..and because it’s *surprise* the weekend, i don’t have any chance to get this fixed any time soon. i don’t get it. why is a money transfer done on wednesday not on the account by friday? btw i checked all the account numbers and stuff to make sure there was no mistake by me and someone else is shopping with my money. never know…

alright, off to my new book. forget about finishing the other 4 i started…
