alright, we all learned by now that i am a person who appreciates service culture. you don’t have to pamper me from head to toe. but if i am spending money at your place i expect to be treated a certain way. the german postal service at least made up for their mishap.
yesterday night i found out that the guy who back in wiesbaden was my insurance dude (and supposedly was up until yesterday evening) never forwarded my new contact information to the various insurances and retirement plans that he was managing for me. oh you m*&%$&ing fugly person. you raked in the money for being the insurance dude for me and then you can’t even forward my address? mind you, that was nine months ago so you can imagine that i was fuming. who knows what mail i was missing out on.
and i definitely missed out on some mail because suddenly this month my rates increased and i KNOW that you always get a letter before that happens. i didn’t. and that’s how i noticed something could be going wrong. so i decided to email the guy (it was close to midnight) to clarify when he forwarded my new contact information. that’s when i got one of those mailerdemons telling me that the email address i used was invalid. so i googled the guy and guess what? he works at a different place now.
well thank you very much for letting me know!
i was still mad this morning and decided to go to an office of that insurance place here in LE right after work to set things right. the poor dude i ended up with did quite well in calming me down. he managed to get a hold of two insurance companies and it turns out they never received a notice of my new address. oh how lovely. and both said they had communication with me in the past months that was returned to them. yup. right.
the options i have to complain officially are rather limited because i do not have a problem with the insurance itself, just with the guy selling it. but i got some tips on who i can contact.
i’ve calmed down, i really dislike the guy though. oh if he crosses my path again…maybe i should channel my energy into writing the complaint letter. that will serve him right (he is still selling insurances…stay away from the fugly insurance guy!).
on a happy note? there’s none. unless you count in that i called up the job agency to let them know i will be unemployed in march…(no worries folks – yet – i am confident i will have my contract extended BUT so far i have nothing in writing so i have to plan ahead somewhat).
